Obedience Is The Conduit Through Which God's Blessings Flow To Your Life.

"But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you..."

Deuteronomy 28:15 (NKJV)

Although God desires to reward us all, He says in Deuteronomy 28:15, "If you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God...these curses will come upon you and overtake you." If you and I disobey, we are severed like a weed from God's hand of blessing. You can alter your future by applying Godly principles to your life. You cannot expect any future contrary to the principles by which you live. The principles you enjoy today are crucial in determining the future you experience tomorrow.

If you want financial security, there are specific principles to which you must adhere. If you desire to walk in divine health, there are also principles you must follow. Whatever future you desire, you must apply the principles that bring those desires to pass. In order to continue any forward progress, you must have a system by which you evaluate your progress, and that is what obedience to God's Word does for you.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that I am obedient to Your Word and I am careful to observe Your ways. I thank You that I walk in Your blessings all the days of my life.

The Road Of Average Is Paved By Good Intentions; The Road Of Greatness Is Paved With Actions.

"And remember, it is a message to obey, not just to listen to. If you don't obey, you are only fooling yourself."

James 1:22 (NLT)

While the buttons on her cell phone are nearly worn off, the college girl's 3-year-old Bible still sits in its original packaging, untouched. She intends to read it every morning, but with so many things going on and so many people to stay in touch with, there's just never enough time.

Intentions never move anyone anywhere. How many people intend to be wealthy, healthy, fulfilled, and happy? The majority, I would imagine. Over the years, however, I have discovered only a few who turn their intention into action. Their reward is achievement. Achievers don't talk about what they are going to do, because they are too busy doing it.

If you find yourself living by intention, I encourage you to take immediate action.  What have you been putting off? Is it cleaning the house, spending time with your spouse, finishing a project? And what is one thing you can do immediately to move you closer toward your intended destination?

Whatever it is, do it without delay after reading and meditating upon this success key. Many people will read this with the intention of taking action but will never do so. I don't believe that about you. I believe you will make the decision to put your life on the right course and take immediate action. Don't wait another minute. Take action, and your life will never be the same again!

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that I am a doer of Your Word, and not just a hearer.

You Can Never Discover Your New Identity While Gazing At The Old One

"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."

Galatians 2:20 (NKJV)

Ah, the unmatched excitement of moving into a new house-the feel of new carpeting beneath your feet, the scent of fresh oak lingering in the air, and the sight of unmarred walls, just waiting to be decorated. No matter what memories your old environment holds, your full concentration now lies upon this wonderful new dwelling. In the same way, when Christ became Lord of your life, you were made into an entirely new person. The spirit that now animates your body should be that of Jesus Himself.

Knowing that your old self no longer exists is the foundational truth that gives you not only the understanding, but also the confidence that your future is going to marvelously exceed your past. Understanding who you are in Christ is the foundation of your Christian life, helping you to better identify whether the thoughts that fill your mind are God's thoughts. Understanding and embracing this new identity protects you from past issues that often hinder your current progress.

People constantly say to me, "You know, I read the Bible, I pray, I go to church, and I witness to people about the Lord. So why does it seem like whenever the pressure is on, I resort to my old ways?" The answer to that question is simple: you haven't yet come to understand who Jesus created you to be and what He did for you through His death and resurrection. In order to successfully withstand the pressures of this world and renovate your mind according to the new life that is yours in Christ, you must understand righteousness - the ability to live continually in right standing with God. You are the righteousness of Christ. You have a bright future in store. Embrace your new identity, just as you would that new house, and you'll soon enjoy the promised dwelling that God is building especially for you
.

Your Future Prosperity
Lies In The Present Confines Of Your Mind.

Your Mind Is The Key That Unlocks The Door To Your Future.

"This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."

Joshua 1:8 (NKJV)

We often embrace the faulty impression that the men and women of God we read about in the Bible were not human like us, and that they didn't go through the same experiences and emotions we do. How would you like to be called upon to replace Moses, the great prophet and national deliverer, like Joshua did? I can guarantee that Satan came immediately to notify Joshua how he was going to miserably fail. Satan's methods and tactics do not change...he just lies! Joshua was petrified. Satan armed himself with cruel accusations and negative thoughts to hurl from the moment God gave Joshua the assignment. Satan probably told Joshua how insufficient and ill-equipped he was for the task God had chosen him to carry out. These are the same things he still tells you and me. God said to Joshua (and He says to us), "My thoughts must be continually in your mouth. You must meditate upon them day and night in order to overcome the lies and the fears that the evil one brings your way." If we follow this formula of success, we can overcome insurmountable odds.

Our mind is actually the power plant of our future, capable of generating blessings and success. Even as a youth, Jesus' mindwas continuously upon progress, growing in favor with God and man.The thoughts we think today progress into a distinct reality tomorrow. But we must stay long enough under God's Word to be transformedinto the man or woman God called us to be.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that I meditate upon Your Word and speak it aloud continually. Because I am a doer of Your Word, I am blessed in my deeds.
